We designed an exciting and efficient office for our Utica location. Blending contemporary and historic references for a cohesive work environment utilizing sustainable design practices throughout.

The continued growth of Syracuse Research Corporation has required construction of a new 2 story 120,903 square foot building. This 10.4 million dollar facility will house various departments requiring an array of diverse functions of an unclassified and classified nature. To meet the future demands of continued growth the second floor will be presently unfinished. The building is being designed and constructed to meet requirements set by the Green Building Council to attain LEED Green Building

We were thrilled to be involved with the adaptive re-use of the former Hurd Shoe Building for JETNET. Inspired by the new owners' (Vincent & Tony Esposito) enthusiastic desire to save the turn of the century building, we worked to develop a mixed-use loft style building which would house their international company, as well as, create two residential lofts for each brother. Working closely with local and state building code officials, we were successful in developing open office and living space

Designed by Bonacci Architects of Utica and Syracuse, the design comlpements the existing building that was originally designed by Charles Moore of Texas.

We designed an inviting office for this local independent insurance agency that shares common spaces with our Utica office providing functional and economic benefits for both our firms.

The 190,000 SF headquarters for the affiliated O'Brien & Gere companies. Placed so that it is the focal point from both entrances to the development, it encloses the "open" corner of the site, so that its principal exposure is to the southeast - toward the sun and the views of the valley and hills south of Syracuse. the design used the natural slope to establish the middle of three levels as the main level, thereby optimizing vertical travel and providing grade access and windows for the lowest

The gently sloping site with its gently curving street provides a revealing sequential view from the southwest that is reflected in the geometry and orientation of the 24,000 SF building.
